Some Thoughts
I've been thinking of some social issues lately..kind of weird for some1 like me to even bother but i suppose it's bcos i'm older n more mature now..
there's some things i've notice while taking the bus 156..i can't remember which day of the week..anyway, i saw this blind man boarding the bus n the bus driver happily took off without waiting for the poor man to get a seat 1st..i know it'll take some time but the driver shouldn't have done tt..den the man had to follow the bus movement n keep walking towords the back of the bus till the middle of the bus n no1 bothered..fortunately, this indian guy grabbed his arm n assisted him..it kind of prick my conscious..i realised i would b like the others who's not gonna bother abt him if i'm sitting near the front of the bus...
next, was i noticed tt sometimes the tvmobile or mobile tv whichever, isn't switched on... i know there's aren't any nice program to watch n sometimes it's irritating but it's sort of an additional service which the commuters paid for..the drivers shud just leave it on..wat's with all the talks abt improving bus services n having better standards..to hell with sbstransit..just bcos they r the monopoly of the bus services they happily do watever they like..i also realised having air-conditoned bus interchange is crap..how long do you actually stay at the bus interchange while waiting for the bus?? it's less than 15min..it's not for the commuters..it's more like an excuse to raise the charges n better environment for the drivers at the expense of the commuters...
then, wed while on the journey back home..some indians board the bus n the first tot tt came to my mind was - they stinks..i'm not being racist, i swear...i realise tt it's not tt younger generation now doesn't understand other races culture n discriminate them..it's bcos we dare to speak our mind n have more freedom of speech..if i were to say it out loud ppl would very probably say i'm discriminating..saying tt the indians stinks is my opinion n also just stating a fact..it just happens bcos they r the minority so it seems to b like some sort of discrimination...i mean y isn't it seen as discrimintion when ppl complain abt burning of incense? is it tt bcos it's complains between same races - chinese? wat i'm trying to say is tt ppl should continue to have the freedom speech but not too shallow to judge straight away tt a person is being racist or discriminating..
lastly, it's funny tt the trend in the company i'm working in now is quitting..i tot tt jobs r hard to look for nowadays? besides, these ppl mostly arent degree holders..shouldn't it b tt they would have more problem looking for jobs? the feeling they give me is like in the army where ppl r just waiting for 2 yrs to pass n f* off...i just dun understand..
